Big Brother Africa 3

Big Brother Africa 3 is the third series of an African Reality Television Show produced by Endemol, an international film and television distribution and production company based at Netherlands. Big Brother Africa, a reality show, was first aired in August 2008 and it covers 12 nations withing Africa, namely, Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The series portrays a contestant living in an isolated house in Johannesburg who tried to avoid being evicted by the viewers and the final contestant wins large amount of cash prize.





In every weekly show, the housemates nominate two other housemates for eviction in the diary room by giving justified and valid reasons. Moreover, every week , the viewers in the 12 countries vote to eliminate a housemate they do not like. Majority of the votes from any particular countries is counted to take the decision. Apart from the 12 countries, other countries in Africa also vote, which counts as 13th vote. Some of the nominees and winners from different countries include: Hazel Warren from Malawai, Latoya Lyakurwa from Tanzania, Lucille Naobes from Namibia, Mimi from Ghana, Morris Mugisha from Uganda, Munya from Zimbabwe, Ricco from Angola, Sheila from Kenya, Takondwa from Zambia, Tawana from Botswana, Thami from South Africa, and Uti from Nigeria.
