Facts about Africa Missionaries In Africa

African continent has been suffering from several problems for many centuries including poverty, poor education standards, starvation, infectious diseases, famine, water, and slavery, among many others. Many government and non government organizations and agencies including missionaries from all over the world have been actively involved in solving some of these problems in some of the poorest countries in the world, mainly in the African continent.

Millions of people in some of the African countries including Uganda, Mombasa and Nairobi, to name the few, scattered over different remote regions of the nations try to eke out a living, often unable to survive due to lack of water, food, proper hygiene and sanitation facilities, and treatment for contagious diseases. Despite it being a land of natural treasure with rich sources of precious metals, Africa still continues to reel under some of the problems for which many missionaries are working in Africa. Missionaries of Africa and catholic societies of religious men reach out to thousands of men, women, and children to teach, heal and help them from some of the tragedies that has gripped the African nations for many centuries.
